Abstract
Francisco de Medina joined Queen Isabella's chapel as chaplain and teacher of the choiboys on 20 April 1500. He may be considered a possible candidate for the authorship of the four-part Salve Regina in the Colombina Library manuscript E-Sco 5-5-20, as well as the two songs in the Cancionero de Palacio [E-Mp II-1335] Es por vos si tengo vida (fols. 57v-58r) and No ay plazer en esta vida (fol. 50r).
